he HR Manager will be directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the Human Resource function. They will perform a variety of tasks including full cycle recruitment, employee relations, compensation administration, and training. The HR Manager will implement and update our compensation plans, develop and rewrite job descriptions, conduct quarterly/annual employee satisfaction surveys, analyze compensation and monitor team performance in conjunction with direct supervisors. Essential Job Functions This job operates in an office environment which routinely uses standard office equipment The employee Is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, uses hand to handle, or feel objects, or tools, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to cultivate employee relationships through strong interpersonal skills Ability to deliver accurate, high-quality outcomes under deadline pressures Highly developed problem solving and decision making skill set in ambiguous situations The HR Manager must have a demonstrated ability to consistently exercise good judgment and decision making skills Required Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field Previous experience of 3+ years in an HR role or related environment PHRca/SPHR desirable What you’ll be doing on a daily basis Manage all aspects of the recruitment process for technical and non-technical roles, including creating job descriptions to processing background checks and E-verify Ensure benefits administration is completed in an accurate and timely manner for new and existing employees (health insurance, 401K programmes, etc) Maintain understanding of existing and proposed federal and state (California) laws/regulations affecting HR management (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEOC, NLRB) Coordinate educational workshops/trainings with the Director of Human Resources, including dates, topics and tracking of attendance Support the visa sponsorship process (H1B) Define and develop training programs to assist with orientation, education and performance Carry out ongoing Coaching, Training, and Career Management to ensure people are aware of their performance and opportunities for growth Recommend new policies, procedures and approaches Anticipate, respond and lead conflict resolution with our team
